Engagement: James and Leah

Here is another awesome couple that I recently did some engagement shots of!  It was awesome,  we went to this back road that runs through a woods, and they brought this sweet love-seat that Leah somehow found.  (This is exactly the kind of furniture I am always looking for, so if you ever see a chair or love-seat of similar vintage for sale, let me know!)  Even though the dirt road is more like a farm lane, and I am pretty sure there is no reason anyone should ever need to drive through... there was about a 15 minute period where there was random traffic... it was so weird.  Some motorcycles, a car, a couple trucks, an atv...

So anyway, here are some starter shots for ya.  There will definitely be more to come!

Bob: Senior 2011

These are a few images of Robert, a senior from Napoleon.  They have an awesome place right by the river, so we decided to do the shots in his backyard.  He plays baseball, so there is a good chance we will do a baseball shoot in the spring.  He is a really cool kid, so I am looking forward to that.

The Twins!

Meet Jake's little brother and sister.  Brandon and Brielle. (I hope I spelled her name right!)

It is very likely that there will be more images of them to come.

Some of you might remember a shoot I did about a year ago in Grand Rapids with this little guy.  Well, I was lucky enough to get to spend some more time with him during this past weekend, and take some photos of him in Perrysburg.  This time was even more special, because about 3 months ago he became an older brother to twins!  So I also did some shots of his little brother and sister!  It was a great day!

Here are a few of the images...

Kees, Chels, and Yellow Apples

Here are some more from our engagement session.  I really enjoyed taking these shots with the apples!  Oh, I forgot to mention this in the first post.... I really liked this shoot for another reason.  I had my friend Bricca (who is like 6 foot tall or close to it) assist me, and Chelsea play basketball at BGSU and is also very tall, and Kees and I are around the same height (6'4 ish), so it was a shoot for tall people.  And that is the best kind of shoot.

So yeah, here are some photos, I hope you like them!

Kees and Chelsea

Hi.  Last weekend I had an engagement shoot with this charming couple.  They are also amazing and cool.  We took probably a billion pictures... and I like most of them.  These were from the very beginning of the shoot, so I thought I would just throw them up... There will definitely be more to come so check back soon!

Summer School

So I have been shooting a ton lately, and it is now time for me to get caught up on some editing... and blog posting!  I realized I never put up these images of Hunter from the end of summer.  He doesn't wear glasses, and it took a little coaxing to get him to wear these ones.... but when he finally did, the expressions that we were able to capture were so awesome!  There were a ton of great shots from this session, but these were a couple of my favorites.

Senior: Nicole

This is the 2nd senior shoot I have had with Nicole.  It was extremely windy!.... of course.  And she obviously has long hair.... Recipe for disaster.  But, we did what we could, and got some shots that I liked.  It helps that she is super photogenic...
The last image (the one in black and white), when we were taking it, it was the windiest spot we tried to shoot!  This was the absolute only acceptable shot out of the bunch.. unless you are someone hoping for senior portraits with your hair flying across your face...

Flying Giants Huckfest Tour 2010

A few weeks ago I was on my way to Napoleon (to go to WalMart of course).  I drove by the "air-field" and way surprised to see a bunch of people there flying their planes.  It turned out to be the Flying Giants Huckfest Tour 2010... not exactly sure what that means.  I decided to stop by on my way home, and ended up staying quite a while.  I took so many pictures... and I'm not exactly sure why.  So I guess I might as well put some up on the blog.  Here are a few random shots from the afternoon.

Senior: Josh

This weather needs to shake itself.... I am not ready for it to be under 70!  I guess I have a lot to do right now, so it does keep me inside working.  I have been working on a lot of senior stuff, some family stuff, a ton of athletic events that I have shot recently... so I have been busy.

Yesterday I had a shoot with Josh.  I wanted to get some images up, so I worked on just a couple to post.  It was a real fun shoot.  Hit the back alleys of Napoleon... did some shooting there, got up on a RR car... which I was glad Josh was willing to do.  So yeah, it was a good time.  Here are just a few images from it.

Tiger Football

Football season has started again.  It is a very exciting time of the year for this area.  High school is on their 3rd week.  I have shot at the first two LC games.  These pictures are from their second game with Montpelier.  LC won 62-13... or right around there.

I have started posting these on my website, so on my homepage hit up the LCHS Sports link!

Here are some shots from a shoot with Libby!  It worked out perfect, doing these pictures by her grandma's garden pond.  And what a pretty girl!

I have a few openings this week after a few shoots had to be rescheduled... so if anyone wants to schedule a kid's session for Wednesday or Thursday, or maybe Friday morning of this week, I can offer a shoot for $15!  Facebook or email me if you are interested!
