Macee and Delaney

Look at those blue eyes!  Here are some images from my shoot with Macee and Laney yesterday.  They aren't fully edited, but I am always so anxious to put my pictures up, that I have a hard time waiting.  It was a lot of fun photographing these two.  They were so great and did an awesome job.

I am scheduled to have a shoot this evening with a little guy named Zane.  I am a little worried though, we are suppose to get storms.  Hope they hold off!

Senior Shoot: Tawni

Yesterday I mentioned that I had a photo shoot with a local senior, Tawni.  Well here are some of the images that we got from the shoot....

There are quite a few more that I like.  I can't wait to get them edited... she has such an awesome smile!

Dusk at the Swamp

Today was a great day.  The weather was good, and I got quite a bit accomplished.  In the evening I did a Senior Shoot with Tawni.  I haven't had time to edit any, but I will definitely be trying to get some done tomorrow.  So, look here then and I might have some images posted!

These shots are from two different days this summer.  The evening photos were from our swamp property in Fulton County a couple days ago, and the butterfly was from this afternoon.  I saw it flying around from the window, so I grabbed my camera and snapped a few.

Some Houghton Lake

We spent last week at Houghton Lake up in Michigan.  It was a really good time!  Could have asked for a little bit better, less windy weather, but it was still fun like always.  I was hoping to get some of my pricing done while I was up there, but we were a lot busier up there than I thought.  The fishing was going so well that we spent quite a bit of time out on the lake.  We caught a good number of walleye, and a TON of pike. Oh, and I caught a huge bluegill that seriously fought like a marlin.

Here are a few photos from the week.  The middle one of the bottom three is of my sister.  I think her and I are going to do a maternity shoot here soon.

Field of Flowers

Today is another windy day at the lake! It is really sunny and nice other than the wind.  Everyone is getting the boats put in so hopefully we will start some fishing tonight or tomorrow morning.  My brother-in-law and I got a tennis match in this afternoon.  Every time we play it goes about as long as possible, we end up having to play a tie breaker.  For never having a day of lessons, I am surprised at our ability sometimes.

Here are some of the images from my shoot with Sydney and Alexis.  I thought the one with Lexi and the glasses was real neat, with the reflection of the flowers.

Senior Shoot: Tyler

Just arrived to Houghton Lake, Michigan a little while ago with the family.  It is crazy windy by the lake right now.  I'm hoping it lets up soon so that we can start enjoying some lake activities.  I'll be posting once in a while this week about the vacation and let everyone know how it's going!

Well anyway, yesterday I had a pretty busy day.  In the morning I had a shoot with Sydney and Lexi in an awesome field of yellow and purple flowers.  It was so awesome looking.  I got some decent shots of the girls.  I think it would be ideal to shoot there in the evening though.

Then later I did some senior shots with Tyler.  He is a pretty cool kid (with a name like that, I expected he would be). He plays football so we did some shots around the stadium.  I stayed up last night to get some quick edits done.  There are a couple that I really liked. I think it was a pretty successful shoot.  So here are a few.....

A little later I will post some of the images of Syd and Lex.

Hillary: Football Stadium Trial

Yesterday I took Hillary up to the football stadium. She isn't a senior, but I wanted to get some ideas of different things I could do at the stadium with actual senior clients. So, she stood in as my model. There were a few that I kinda liked.  The sun was kind of harsh, so we were limited in certain areas.

I didn't do much editing besides some different color treatments, but these are a few of the quick shots that I took.

Summer Favorites #1

Today I was thinking about how much I enjoy the summer, and how there are so many things about this time of the year that I like. So, I decided to start a series on my favorite things about the summer. Who knows how often I will actually follow up on this, or if I will never post one again, but I might as well start and see where it goes. So here is #1 of the "Summer Favorites" series: Black Raspberries.

We have had a lot of them lately. I found a couple spots that are stacked with them along the creek and such. They taste great, and mom has made some killer pies with them. So heres to the great wild black raspberries of summer! Thanks for tasting so sweet!
