From Autumn

I took some photos this fall that I have hardly had time to even look at. Here are a few that I took one day at sunset. I rode my bike about a mile down the road to take some shots of a farmer harvesting beans. I ended up also taking some pictures of this plant. Hope you like them!

I took quite a few more pictures of harvest and such.... I will probably get those posted eventually....

Clint: 2nd Shoot

Here are some shots of my 2nd shoot with Clint. I think we got some pretty good stuff. It was kinda cold, but not as bad as our first shoot for sure. I just noticed that none of these images I decided to put up show him smiling.... We did get a lot of him smiling though. He is a really good fake smiler actually. I have enjoyed these two shoots a lot. Clint and his mom are really nice, and enjoyable people to have on a photo shoot.

The only negative thing about the shoot.... sometime during or after I have seemed to misplace my camera bag with one of my lenses in it! :( Now, the more I think about it, the more I feel like I put it in the van when we were ready to leave for home.... but I can't find it around the house anywhere! We went back and searched both places we shot... Either someone swiped it out of the van, we left it behind and someone picked it up before we got back to look for it, or it is sitting around here somewhere(possibly in a shallow grave dug by our dog... but I really don't think that is the case). Or else, right now, Clint is rolling in all the money that he got when he pawned it off. Haha... but seriously, if thats true, you're dead.

So, we finally got some nice snow last night..... What a perfect time for some photos out in the outside! If anyone wants to schedule a session for some shots out in this, let me know. A kid playing in the snow maybe??!! That would be cool.

That is all for now. Hope everyone is having a great Christmas season!

Clint: Senior 2010

Over the weekend I had a senior shoot with Clint. It was FREEZING... and the sun was as harsh as it could get... but we managed to get some neat shots. I felt sorry for him... I had several layers of clothing on, and was still cold. I think his arms actually fell off before we were done.

Here are a few shots. We are doing another shoot later this week to do some non-football pictures.

Christmas Cards

Whoa, it has been a really long time since I have posted. Give me a break! I have been busy!

So, several people have had me do greeting card inserts. So here are some of the ones that I have thrown together. I enjoy doing them, they are something a little different than just taking photos. Like I have said before, I don't consider myself a design expert.... so I enjoy the chance to practice and improve myself!

We are running out of time before Christmas.... so if anyone wants me to do any of these for this year still, you best contact me soon!

LCHS Cheer Books

About two weeks ago I had a rush order for some photo books for the LCHS cheerleading squad. They were having their end of the year banquet the next week and wanted some gifts for the girls. I whipped up some books and got the order in... half of them came before the weekend, and the rest got here Monday afternoon (the banquet was that evening). So it worked out great, and I was really happy with how the books turned out! I really enjoy doing design stuff like this, and I think I continue to improve in this area (design doesn't come as naturally to me as it does some people).

Here are a few pages from the books!

Some of the photos are from a shoot I did with the squad earlier in the year, some are from shots that I took during the season, and some are files that the coach gave me.

Check out my website for info on CUSTOM HOLIDAY CARD SPECIALS!!

OSU Game

Saturday I went down to Columbus with the guys for the Buckeyes game. It was awesome, as always! This was the first game that I have sat in the upper deck. I'm glad I got to, I never knew how amazing everything looks from up there. I decided just to take my little pocket camera in and not try to smuggle in anything else. I didn't take many pictures, but here are a few.

Bunny Hunt

We recently went on our first rabbit hunt of the season. It was a warm, sunny day; different from what you usually think of when you think about a bunny hunt. It was also the first time we had our beagle, Molly, out. She definitely didn't impress me with her hunting skill. She was pretty unsure of what exactly to do... and was definitely more interested in playing with the other dogs. She is young though, and it was her first hunt. I think taking her out a couple more times, and getting her use to it, will maybe help. I hope so at least!

Here are a couple shots from the afternoon.... including the boys with each of their bunnies!

Alien Abduction

So I was going through my images of Bryce... and I was shocked to find this!! I'm afraid that he has been abducted by aliens and replaced by an alien baby! Should I report this to the cops, or will they just think I'm crazy?!

Nick, I hope you guys are ok with me posting this..... :) .... but it is for everyone's safety.

This little fella is Bryce. He belongs to one of my great friends, Nick. It was such an awesome shoot because I haven't got to see Nick for quite some time! His brother is an old friend of mine from high school, so I spent quite a bit of time hangin at their house back in the day(which is crazy because it seems like it was just last weekend or something). Anyway, I probably haven't seen Nick for maybe even a couple years now, so it was AWESOME to get to reconnect with him.

Bryce warmed up to me pretty quickly, so in no time we were getting some great shots. These are a few of the ones I liked. What awesome blue eyes!

This week should be a good week for me to get caught up on some things. I have a ton to get edited from shoots the past few weeks. Hopefully I can concentrate... I get to go down for the buckeyes game this weekend, so I am pretty excited. I need to make a trip to get an OSU sweatshirt or something!

I wanted to post a couple more senior shots that I have done recently. I have had a few more shoots in the past couple of days, which none of these shots are from. I will hopefully post some from those shoots soon.

I want to get a few more outdoor shoots in before the weather gets too bad, so.... the first senior (that I have not done a shoot with yet) to email me ( will get a free 30 minute session! Get at me!

Little Leah

These are a few shots that I took during a shoot of Leah about two weeks ago. I hadn't posted them, but she was so cute, I still wanted to put a few up. These are a few shots that we got of her looking at the camera..... before she got distracted by making a leaf bouquet :) I got quite a few cute pictures of her doing that too, even though she was much too busy then to look and smile.

This is my buddy Jake..... I had a shoot with his last week. We had a lot of fun. I met up with him and his mom, and I just snapped some pictures while he played around. He is such a cute and funny little guy.

Here are just a few images from the morning...

Proudfoot Wedding

I am finally releasing these shots of the Proudfoot wedding for public viewing. Check them out, let me know what you think! There were so many that I liked.... This should give you a pretty good taste of how beautiful the day was.

Let me know if you are looking to book a photographer! We can chat and see if I am a good fit for your wedding/event/whatever!
